City Committee Approves New Traffic Signs and Speed Limit Ordinance for Introduction to Council
The Public Safety Council Committee discussed and approved the introduction of Ordinance 26024, which proposes the installation of various traffic signs and the establishment of a 25-mile-per-hour speed limit in several locations within the city. The committee voted to forward this ordinance to the full City Council for further consideration. The approved changes include installing stop signs at the intersections of Hanson Street with Crockett Drive, Milo Court, and Yonge Drive, as well as at Milo Court with Jordan Street, and Jordan Street with Crockett Drive and Yonge Drive. Additionally, a 25-mph speed limit is to be established on West Country Club Terrace. The committee voted six in favor to move the ordinance forward.
