Certificate of Appropriateness Approved for Signs at Enchanted Site Foundation Museum
The council reviewed a certificate of appropriateness request for the Enchanted Site Foundation Museum for signs. The proposed main sign dimensions are 46 inches wide by 62.5 inches high, flush-mounted to the exterior wall. A smaller 'by appointment only' sign is also proposed for the front door. The sign will be constructed of high-density urethane. The Planning Commission provided a favorable recommendation, and the council approved the request.
Land Development Plan for Site Improvements at Curtin Intermediate School Approved
The council reviewed a preliminary/final land development plan for site improvements at Curtin Intermediate School, submitted by Livic Civil on behalf of Williamsport Area School District. The project includes a hard play surface, parent drop-off/pickup loop, bus loop, and parking area with 48 spaces, along with necessary site improvements like stormwater management and landscaping. The Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions, including finalization of a performance bond/escrow for improvements and a recorded operation and maintenance agreement for stormwater facilities.
