Huber Heights Board Approves Rear Setback Variance for Residential Addition
The Huber Heights Board of Zoning Appeals considered BZA Case 202604, an application by Gregory Veigel for a variance to reduce the required rear yard setback from 40 feet to 32 feet to allow for the construction of a rear room addition that will replace an existing enclosed patio. City staff had no objection, and adjacent properties were notified with no objections received. The board voted to approve the variance.
Huber Heights Board Approves Side Setback Variance for Attached Garage on Agricultural Lot
The Huber Heights Board of Zoning Appeals reviewed BZA Case 202605, an application by Derek Fairchild for a variance to reduce the required side yard setback from 30 feet to 10 feet to allow for the construction of an attached garage on the east side of the house in an agriculturally zoned district. City staff had no objection, and adjacent properties were notified with no objections received, including from a neighbor who owns horses. The board voted to approve the variance.
