Montgomery County Recorder's Office Promotes Fraud Alert System and Veteran Services
Nate Mundy from the Montgomery County Recorders Office presented information on several services offered by the office, including an alert notification system for fraud, transfer on death designations, and a veteran program. He emphasized the free nature of the alert system and its role in preventing deed fraud by notifying property owners of any changes or potential fraudulent activity. The transfer on death service was highlighted as a cost-effective alternative to probate.
