Trophy Club Crime Control and Prevention District Approves Fiscal Year 2027 Budget

The Trophy Club Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) board reviewed and approved the proposed fiscal year 2027 annual budget. The budget includes continued funding for existing programs such as the cadet program and Crime Stoppers, as well as new investments in software like Lexapol for policy and accreditation documentation and FTO training, and Clearview software for criminal investigators. Capital expenditures will include funding for two vehicles from the CCPD budget, with the town covering a third vehicle and a COP car. The budget also allocates funds for the FLOC program and ongoing costs for protective gear. A significant enhancement is the proposed Junior Police Academy for the following summer, aimed at educating young students about law enforcement.
