South Orange Village Council Authorizes Payment of Bills Totaling Over $25 Million
The Village Council adopted Resolution 2026-179, authorizing the payment of bills for the period through July 13, 2026, totaling $25,395,046.16. The Finance Committee, chaired by Councilwoman Canning, had audited the bills list presented by the village treasurer. The large total amount prompted a question from a council member regarding its size, but the resolution passed with five yeas.
