The fire department responded to 36 calls between May 1st and May 18th. The department participated in the funeral for Chief Brian Shock, described as a respectful and emotional day honoring his service. Three members of the fire department competed in the PBA Law Enforcement Torch Run Harmon Cove Stair Climb: Firefighter Davin Pistell, Probationary Firefighter Brandon Edwards, and Junior Firefighter Thomas Marzouk. Brandon Edwards won the award for fastest firefighter in full gear.

The town museum will be open every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
