Pquinic Township Council Reorganizes, Elects Mayor and Deputy Mayor for 2026
The Pquinic Township Council held its 286th annual reorganization meeting on Tuesday, January 13th, to elect its mayor and deputy mayor for the year 2026, and to approve various appointments and designations. Councilwoman Kyle Russell was elected Mayor, and Councilwoman Florence Lynch was elected Deputy Mayor. The council also approved appointments to various boards and commissions, including the library board of trustees, planning board, shade tree commission, and environmental commission, as well as designating liaisons for 2026 and approving additional resolutions. The meeting concluded with public comment and adjournment.
