Under this plan, the city pays 50% of any credits or refunds obtained, and P3 Cost Analysts retains the savings for the first year, with the city benefiting from full savings in subsequent years. If no savings are found, no fee is charged. This approach is considered a best practice for managing utility expenses, as the city has not had a utility audit since 2017. The compensation is contingent upon identified savings, with no upfront fiscal impact.
Paramount Announces Packed Schedule of Community Events, Including Pet Clinic, Concert, and MLB Screening
The city is hosting several community events in the coming week. These include an affordable pet vaccine clinic on June 24th at Paramount Park, a FIFA watch party for Mexico's game at Paramount Park, a summer concert featuring the Honky Tonk Hustlers on Thursday evening, an orange splash pad night at the water park, and a movie night featuring 'Zootopia' with the Mayor on Friday at Congress Park. The proposed design includes features like metal frames, a Zamboni display, a dimensional back wall, and floor plan elements indicating exhibit space, community room, and food hall areas. Key considerations for the design include visual impact, visitor experience, engagement for younger audiences, adaptability, and ADA compliance. The agreement with Museum Pros is for $81,000, with a 10% contingency, totaling $89,100, to be funded entirely from the art fund. The contract is for one year.
New Policy Mandates Meeting Recess and Service Restoration Efforts During Technological Disruptions
The city is implementing a new policy regarding technological disruptions during hybrid council meetings, as mandated by Senate Bill 707.
