Ellen Buchanan Reappointed to Downtown Business Improvement District

City Approves Multiple Bonds for Water Building Remodel and Infrastructure Projects

Water Utility Service Line Crew Seeks Early FTE Approval for Infrastructure Repairs
The Budget and Finance Committee considered a special consideration request for the FY27 budget to hire one FTE for the water utility service line crew. The request is to hire immediately to capitalize on the summer construction season and address infrastructure needs. The position is considered budget-neutral, with costs covered by service charges and potentially vacancy savings in FY26. The crew has already exceeded its repair goals since its creation last year.
