This event celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and is in its third year, having grown annually. It features delicious food and entertainment, reflecting the growing Hispanic community in Mandeville. Approval is contingent upon ATC permit and certificate of insurance. Councilwoman Lane, District 3, offered the item.

West Drainage Improvements Project Achieves Substantial Completion

The council approved the substantial completion certificate for the NTB's West Drainage Improvements Project. Substantial completion was granted on June 17th after a site inspection. While most punch list items are complete, the contractor will redo some siding work in a private yard. Councilman Vogutans, District 2, deferred discussion to city engineers and Public Works.

Lambert Consultants Contract Extended for Old Mandeville Waterlines Project

Resolution 2631 was adopted, authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment Number Three to the professional services agreement with Richard C. Lambert Consultants LLC for the Old Mandeville Waterlines Project. This amendment adds one year to the contract to cover construction administration and project close-out services, as the project is currently under construction. Construction is visible along Montgomery Street.

Captain Liberto Memorial Fund Jambalaya Cook-off Approved by Mandeville Council

The council approved the special event permit for the Captain Liberto Memorial Fund's 'Cooking with the Blue Jambalaya cook-off'.
