City Manager Updates on Water Leak, Climate Credits, Infrastructure Funding, and State Meetings
The City Manager reported a lateral leak in the Foster Farms area from MID, which has been notified for repair. Residents will receive a California Climate Credit of $36 to $72 over the summer, approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. The city also met with Assemblywoman Sora to discuss the consolidated fire district, CALR, PG&E, and infrastructure funding needs, with a follow-up meeting planned. The League of California Cities conference is scheduled for September 23-25 in Anaheim.
