Town Council Calls for Public Hearing on Conrad Farm North Rezoning Request
The Town Council called for a public hearing for a rezoning request for Conrad Farm North. The request is to rezone from agricultural to agricultural conditional for a planned residential development that will contain 31 homes. The planning board reviewed this on June 10th and unanimously recommended approval. Council Member Gallagher, a resident of Conrad Farm, inquired about potential conflicts of interest, and the town attorney advised that since it is a legislative matter and she does not have a close familial or business relationship with the applicant, she is not conflicted. The council then approved Resolution 2026025, calling for the public hearing for the August meeting.
Town Council Approves Public Hearing for Marian's Landing Rezoning
The Town Council called for a public hearing for a rezoning request for Marian's Landing (L118). This request is a revised application, submitted by Fourstar and McAdams, for 61 single-family residential homes under a planned residential development conditional zoning. This is similar in process to the Conrad Farm North rezoning. The council approved Resolution 202626, calling for this public hearing.
State Budget Act Includes Significant Provisions Affecting Local Government
