London Bridge Plaza Improvement District Adopts Tax Levy for Maintenance and Operations

This is a self-imposed tax by property owners within the district to fund maintenance and operations, including the parking lot, electricity, water service, and landscaping. While the tax rate remains constant, increased property valuations are expected to generate an additional $442,342 in revenue for the city. This includes $124,000 from new construction. The increase translates to $2.84 annually per $100,000 of assessed value. This action followed a truth-in-taxation hearing, fulfilling state requirements for budget adoption and tax levy procedures.
