Redwood City Approves Funding for Boulder Creek Pavilion Replacement

The Redwood City Council considered authorizing capital outlay funding for the replacement of the Boulder Creek pavilion. The funding, amounting to $1 million from the Redevelopment Agency, is intended to cover the design and setup phases, with construction anticipated for late 2027 or early 2028 to ensure completion before RDA funding becomes unavailable in mid-2029. The new pavilion will include restrooms, conference rooms that can be separated, outdoor areas, and a warming kitchen.
