Transportation Committee Discusses Intersection Visibility and Speed Management; Regional Growth and Puget Sound Recovery Updates Provided
Council Member Bader reported on attending the Transportation Advisory Committee meeting where two issues were discussed: daylighting intersections to improve visibility between vehicles and pedestrians, and a speed management workshop as part of the Vision Zero effort to identify arterials needing speed reviews. He also attended the Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Management Policy Committee, which discussed regional centers, consistency with TOD and housing standards, housing development monitoring, and the status of Puget Sound recovery efforts by the Puget Sound Partnership.
