Dalton Serenity Club Receives Funding for Opioid Treatment Services

The council awarded a construction contract for the North Glenwood Stormwater Bypass Project to CW Matthews Contracting Company for $3,024,455.62. CW Matthews was selected based on scoring the highest in the request for proposals process, offering the most aggressive schedule and lowest price. The project duration is 150 calendar days, with an estimated completion in February 2027. The project received a positive recommendation from the Public Works Committee and was reviewed by the Public Works Board.
Boostlingo Master Service Agreement Approved for Interpretation Services
The council approved a Master Service Agreement with Boostlingo for interpretation services, fulfilling a recently passed language access plan. Boostlingo will provide real-time translation for English, Spanish, and German, the most common languages in Dalton. The service will allow for simultaneous interpretation and aims to assist German-speaking individuals in understanding council meetings. The agreement is for 50 hours at a cost of $6,000.
Placer Labs Contract Amended to Include ESRI Platform for Event Data Analysis

Mason-Dixon Alley Renamed Lon McCamey Alley

Businesses affected by the address change have agreed to the renaming.
