Verizon Lease for 40 Stow Street Moves Forward After Addressing Resident Concerns
The Select Board reviewed updates on the proposed Verizon lease for a facility at 40 Stow Street. Key questions regarding RF exposure, 5G service, and lease termination provisions were addressed. Verizon confirmed that coverage modeling used the proposed 72-foot antenna height and that reducing the height would not substantially change RF exposure. The site will provide both 4G LTE and 5G service. The lease includes termination provisions for both parties, providing flexibility if permits are not issued. The review process for operational and site design considerations, including noise, will go before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Concord Select Board Aims to Enhance Public Communication
