Updates on Fountain Repair, Road Paving, and Future Street Improvements

Regarding ongoing village matters, a new pump for the fountain is expected to arrive and be installed on Friday. Paving of roads on Onida and through streets is scheduled to begin on Thursday and likely finish by the end of the week. The paving of Oak Street from East View to the train tracks is part of an STP project funded by an 8020 grant and is scheduled for next year.

Fourth of July Events and Car Show Permit Approved

Chairman Berman provided an update on Fourth of July activities, noting carnival setup details and a one-way street plan for access to the library. The event spans July 2nd to July 5th, featuring skydivers on July 3rd and 4th, fireworks on July 4th at 9:15 PM, and a parade on July 5th at 11:00 AM. He also addressed the Bartlett Lions Club's request for a permit to close South Eastern Avenue on August 9th for their 'Hood and Horsepower' car show, which was approved pending insurance.
