Despite technology being available, the lack of state-level accountability prevents improvements. The mayor pledged to continue advocating from the local level through letters and testimony.

Dogiparthi described persistent ponding in front of her property, requiring regular draining by the township for over nine years. Pereira detailed safety concerns due to the narrowness of Bowers Lane, making it difficult for two vehicles to pass, and expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed drainage system, which he believes will introduce more water into the ground. He also highlighted damage to vehicles from potholes at the intersection with Tennant Road and the need for street reconstruction. The council indicated that a contract for drainage work at this location has been awarded and will be completed this year, though paving may be deferred to next year. They also acknowledged the need for road widening but noted it would require private property and explored various drainage alternatives over the years.
