Court Continues Cases for In-Custody Defendants, Grants PR Bonds

The court heard cases involving individuals in custody appearing via video. For Christopher Code, the case was continued for one week to July 22nd at 3:30 PM, with the defendant anticipating five more days in jail and having other holds until August 17th. He is currently in the bridges program in Arapaho and has pending felony cases. For Roy Reagan, who is also in custody and appearing by video, his five cases were continued to July 22nd at 3:30 PM. Reagan has been in custody for over 500 days, with a book date of January 31st, 2025. He was recently released from Pueblo State Hospital and had previously been deemed incompetent. The court granted PR bonds for Reagan, and he is expected to be picked up by a treatment provider called Monarch. The court released Reagan on its holds, though he would need to check with the sheriff for holds from other jurisdictions.
