District 4 Farmers Market Soft Launch, El Dorado Park Planning Underway

The soft launch of the District 4 Farmers Market occurred, located near the administrative office of the Fresno Airport. The market aims to create Fresno's first family-friendly district. Currently, it features four large-scale farmers, 16 food vendors, and 25 small businesses, with ongoing applications. The market is situated on a 1.5-acre city-owned lot and will operate on the first and fourth Saturdays of each month. The grand opening is planned for September 5th, with a current operating time of 11 a.m. Additionally, a community meeting was held for the planning of El Dorado Park, with approximately 65 attendees, including many children, contributing ideas for the park's future design.
