Major Asphalt Patching Contract Awarded for Warehouser Way

Updates Provided on Federal Link Extension and Operations Facility Projects

City Center Greenway Project Contract Award Recommended

Proposed Amendments to Clarify Solid Waste Enclosure Height Requirements
The committee discussed proposed amendments to the solid waste and recycling ordinance (code 19125150) to clarify enclosure height requirements. The current code section 7E is unclear regarding minimum opening heights for solid waste enclosures. The proposed amendment clarifies that a 21-foot height is only required in parking garages, while an 11- or 11.5-foot clearance will be used for openings where solid waste is typically collected. The Planning Commission recommended moving the amendment forward to the City Council for adoption, and the Mayor also recommended adoption.
