City Council Calls for General Municipal Election; Treasurer Position Change on Ballot
The City Council adopted Resolution 2026-29, calling for and giving notice of the general municipal election to be held on November 3, 2026. Police Officers Association MOU Approved, Including 3% COLA
The City Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Clear Lake Police Officers Association (POA) for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. This one-year agreement was negotiated in good faith and covers salaries, benefits, and other terms of employment. Key highlights include a 3% cost of living adjustment (COLA) and the removal of the recertification requirement for bilingual pay. The council authorized the city manager to sign the MOU. He also mentioned that grant funding was previously sought but not obtained, and the city continues to look for additional funding.
City Council Approves School Resource Officer Program MOU with Conocta Unified School District
The City Council considered and approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Conocta Unified School District for the School Resource Officer (SRO) program.
