District Approves Internal Fund Loan for Cash Flow Management
The committee discussed the annual process of borrowing from the capital projects fund to meet general fund short-term needs. This involves an interest calculation to ensure the capital projects fund is not deprived of resources. Additionally, the district anticipates borrowing from the county later in the fiscal year. The immediate action is to retire a previous loan and initiate a new one from the capital projects fund to rebuild reserves.
