Smyrna City Council Approves FY2027 Budget of $122.7 Million, a Decrease from Previous Year
The City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, totaling $122,710,365. This budget is less than the revised FY26 budget of $126,131,514. The approved budget includes $73,584,427 for the general fund, $9,999,990 for special revenues, $3,553 for capital project funds, $1,874 for internal service funds, and $33,698,948 for enterprise funds. The finance team was commended for their work.
Smyrna Acquires Sewer and Drainage Easements from Saunders Residence
The City Council authorized the acquisition of a 20-foot sanitary sewer easement and a 15-foot drainage easement from the Saunders residence at 1216 Bank Street.
