Smyrna Approves Purchase of Four Dodge Durango Police SUVs
The council authorized the purchase of four Dodge Durango pursuit all-wheel drive SUVs for $45,509 per vehicle, totaling $182,036, utilizing the Georgia statewide contract. Vehicle outfitting will be performed by Dana Safety Supply for an additional $22,238.40 per vehicle, totaling $88,953.60. Funding for the vehicles comes from the Emergency Vehicle Replacement Fund, and outfitting from the Asset Forfeiture Fund. The mayor was authorized to sign related documents. The council approved the purchase unanimously (7-0).
