In Q2, visitor numbers increased to 231, with additional hours during the Forest Festival and Olympus Rally. Seasonal signage was updated to reflect the Forest Festival. State visitors mainly came from the South Sound area, seeking weekend trips, while out-of-state visitors included Oregon, Montana, and Idaho. History and heritage remain strong motivators for visits, with cross-referrals between the historical society and the caboose. Visitor Center was noted as the second most searched item, with attractions being number one.
Council Considers Ordinance to Regulate Storage of Personal Property on Public Property

Shelton City Council Addresses Public Safety Technology, Infrastructure, and Budget Initiatives
