Home Depot Subdivision Plat Recommended for Approval by Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed and recommended approval of the Home Depot subdivision plat. This plat encompasses approximately 40 acres, with Home Depot purchasing 10 of those acres for construction. The development includes a new public road, expected to become a stoplight intersection with Teton River Road. Staff confirmed that all plat requirements have been met, including traffic impact study recommendations for a new stoplight to manage traffic flow and potential future road expansions. The commission also discussed the integration of sidewalks and future road connectivity, including potential routes to Moody and Sugar City, while acknowledging limitations posed by railroad tracks and canals. The plat is moving forward to the City Council for final approval.
