School Board Approves Multiple Field Trips and Grants, Including New CTE Courses

The school board approved several field trips and grant applications. These include field trips for PHS students to Norfolk State University for a girls' basketball camp (June 12-14, 2026), VJMS and PHS students to Virginia Tech University for an Imagination Drone Camp (June 14-20, 2026) and a STEM Imagination Computer Science Camp (June 21-27, 2026), and VJMS and PHS students to the University of Mary Washington for a STEM camp (July 20-24, 2026). Additionally, the board approved the Individual Student Alternative Education Plans Grant (AAP) and the 2027 Gear Up Grant.
