Picosen City Council Holds Closed Session for School Board Appointments
The city council convened and concluded a closed session to discuss personnel matters, specifically interviews for school board appointments. Picosen City Council Honors Fallen Veterans and Community Service
The city council meeting included a special presentation recognizing the second annual Memorial Day ceremony and acknowledging community contributions. The American Legion Highway More Post 273 was thanked for their ceremony the previous day. The Kowanas and Exchange Club were recognized for a flag display celebrating America's 250th anniversary, featuring flags with historical information from May 20th through July 4th. The council also presented biographical information and pictures of 18 fallen veterans from various wars, including World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, as part of their internal ceremony to honor their sacrifice and demonstrate patriotism.

HRTPO Approves 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan Including Victory Boulevard Widening
