Liquor Commission Approves Amendments to Class CT Liquor License Requirements
The liquor commission meeting included a presentation and vote on ordinance 18-26, which proposes amendments to chapter 4, section 30 regarding class CT liquor license requirements. These amendments aim to clarify the license's intended use and strengthen administrative oversight by limiting each license to a specific approved banquet facility, date, and time. Additionally, they require a separate CT license for each catered event, necessitate the submission of a floor plan and documentation proving alcohol is incidental to food service, and authorize the liquor commissioner to administratively approve subsequent CT licenses. A $100 license fee was also established in the village fee schedule. The ordinance was presented by administrator assistance Kevin Sherman and moved for approval by trustee sip, seconded by trustee Wilson. Following discussion, the ordinance was approved.
