The road profile will be redone, which may allow for a speed limit change in the future. The project is estimated to take about a year, with approximately 300 days of actual construction.
Waxaw Adopts Updated Personnel Policy, Removes Age Requirements for Retiree HR

Public Hearing Held for Redevelopment of Town-Owned Properties on North Broom and North Church Streets
A public hearing was opened to discuss the town-owned properties located at 321 North Broom Street and 316 North Church Street. These properties were vacated after the town hall was completed. The purpose of the hearing is to formally establish that these properties are being held for economic development purposes under NCGS 158-7.1, as recommended by the town attorney due to historical records not clearly establishing initial acquisition under this statute.
