The Business Administrator explained that the town pays a significant annual fee ($25,000) for this system, which was designed by a previous CFO, and they are considering reverting to a different system due to utilization challenges. While detailed information is available, it may not be in the same user-friendly spreadsheet format as in previous years. The council acknowledged the importance of transparency and committed to exploring options to ensure public access to detailed budget information.
Mount Olive Approves Maintenance Contract for Township AEDs
The council discussed resolution 199-2022 regarding AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). It was clarified that the resolution is for a service contract for the maintenance of three AEDs that the township already owns. Synthas performs monthly inspections and maintenance.
