Woodland Park Introduces New Ordinances on E-bikes, Parks, Utilities, and Parking
The Mayor and Council introduced several ordinances related to public safety and municipal operations. Ordinance 2616 and 2617 regulate electric bicycles, electric scooters, and micro-mobility devices, prohibiting their use in certain public parks and recreational facilities. Ordinance 2618 addresses fees for recreational fields and facilities. Ordinance 2619 amends codes related to sanitary sewer connections and industrial discharges, including fees and inspections. Ordinance 2620 amends the schedule of parking requirements, and Ordinance 2621 addresses water system connection fees, meter installation fees, and related permit fees. These ordinances are being introduced for public comment and will be voted on for final adoption at a future meeting.
