The process is being managed by Collier's Engineering on behalf of the township, likely in conjunction with the zoning or planning board. Residents will receive notice and are encouraged to attend these public hearings to ask questions and voice opinions on the types of developments permitted in the future.
Marijuana Tax Revenue, Property Updates, and Budget Hearing Information Provided
A resident inquired about the town's revenue from marijuana shops and updates on the property at 580 Midland. It was confirmed that the town receives revenue from one operational marijuana shop (2% of revenue), with a second one awaiting opening. Regarding 580 Midland, the property remains vacant as the owner has not acted on previous approvals. Additionally, council members discussed the town's budget introduction on May 7th and the upcoming budget hearing on June 18th, where the auditor will be present to answer questions.
Emphasis on Traffic Law Enforcement and Respect for Crossing Guards Around Schools
Council President Snow addressed concerns about traffic and safety, particularly regarding school drop-off and pick-up times. He emphasized that crossing guards perform a dangerous job and deserve respect, citing incidents of drivers blocking driveways and parking illegally near stop signs. 250th Anniversary Celebrations Underway with Events and Fundraising

The First Reformed Church is organizing a bell ringing event on July 4th, and community members are encouraged to share additional ideas for the anniversary celebration. A new community partnership newsletter, created by Thomas, will have its printed version distributed in June.
